Support for victims

Support includes:

Professional treatment - Provided by the center’s staff, social workers, criminologists, and more. Treatment is available at the Head Eye (Rosh HaAyin), Beit Shemesh, and Jerusalem branches.

Treatment is conducted by professional therapists with expertise in treating sexual trauma.

  • Criminal/legal Proceedings support - Guidance and support throughout the criminal process, tailored to the stage you’re in: prior to filing a complaint, during the filing, and in navigating the process. This includes help submitting the complaint, legal support, or accompaniment during trial or case closure procedures.

The Center also offers legal counseling free of charge and without obligation. Legal counseling and guidance is provided by a team of attorneys and professionals with extensive experience in the field of sexual assault cases.

Family Support

The Center offers a unique, personalized support process tailored for families, including up to 4 meetings at no cost. These sessions are led by social workers employed by the center, trained specifically to work with victims of sexual trauma. They also provide support to both victims and their family members — whether they live nearby or far from the victim — as needed.

Legal Process

Your rights are protected! For victims of assault and sexual violence, the center offers free initial legal advice. In addition, legal guidance and accompaniment is available at every stage of the criminal process, with minimal cost.

Community Response

The Israeli Protection Center seeks to provide safety and support uniquely tailored to each victim, including a community-based support system. Recognizing the importance of cultural sensitivity, the center places a strong emphasis on community-specific responses. The center’s experience and the diverse training of its protection team allow it to serve as a bridge between various communities and official authorities.
